New page. Yay for Kiyami and his sexy self.
I'm so glad that Thanksgiving break is this week... omg... FINALLY I have a break to do pages. It's frustrating to not have much in the way of backup pages anymore... (I'm down to 1 in ink, 2 in pencil)
Also, I plan on also using that time to come up with something to do for voting incentives. It seems like the comics that do the best on toplists have incentives for people to vote. I tried to whip something up for today... but yeah, failure. Guess I'm not really with it right now. So... after flipping through my sketchbook... I happened upon an unfinished sketch. I have a lot of those laying around. *shrug* I could just look through my class notes and find stuff--I have a bad habit of drawing in class. Perhaps I should bring my small sketchbook to class and actually do something productive rather than mere doodling. I'll try that, see what happens.
I'm also taking suggestions on what you all would like to see in the incentive drawings. I have a lot of concept sketches (super duper rough), doodles, firm but unfinished sketches, and undrawn ideas just floating around. I'd also be willing to do sidestories (comic form, just little one-shots) that I'd publish as extras in a printed version, but that you'd get to see early. So... here's your chance to see what you want.

Nesshin x Shinwa Yaoi! It doesn't have to be graphic things just sweet little things. ^^;; I feel bad for them in the comic because it never seems to be enough time for them to be a couple.
*giggles* If you do a on-shot deal you could always use Kiyami to make one of them jealous as he seemingly flirts with another.
Gotta please the fangirls. *nod* I think I could whip something up eventually for that.

I absolutely adore your comic, hence, I'd like to help improve your voting scheme.
You're right about incentives being a major factor. I'll vouch for that. But in my opinion, any sketch will do. And depending on how often you switch them up, you may have to become increasingly less picky, as you may have to delve into older/rougher sketches.
Also, the placement of the TWC button is key. I'd make it super-accessible, always available in the same location. Within the update blog is cool, or like Flipside does it, at the end of the most recent page, like a 'bookend.'

and about the votes: Some of the websites confuse me on how exactly i can vote, mainly onlinecomics.net and hotwebcomics.com. how do I vote on those sites?
Starflower-- good point. I don't want to be too greedy, but I should think of some other places to stick it. I think top of the updates each week will be the first spot (since that'll be the one with the incentive thumbnail). And yeah... this was just something I had laying around. And any one-shot comic pages I do would be few and far between--and definitely not put up until the whole thing's been done!
echan-- onlinecomics.net you need an account, then you add the comic you want to your favorites and comment on it. Kind of a hassle sometimes, but it's also great for keeping tabs on what comic just updated in one place. And I have no idea about hotwebcomics... I think that thewebcomiclist is something akin to unique visits per month, but I'm not sure. TWC is the one I'm most interested in right now--just because I want to see how well I can do!
