Before I begin: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYFALL! SkyFall is now FOUR YEARS OLD! OMG. I can't believe I've kept this up for that long... here's to another year. *cheer*

Ahem.

Work is kicking my butt once again. Working full time is nice once I'm seeing my paychecks... not so much when I have no idea when I'm going to get paid. Which means my first paycheck is going to be BEEFY. I'm talking $1000+ in one lump sum. My savings account will no longer be starving for something to be put in it. Too bad there's such thing as taxes.

Also, my weekends are becoming very full very quickly. This last weekend I went on a trip... and I'll be going on trips for the next two weekends. Joy.

In other news, the cover is now 100% complete. The book is about 99% ready for print--I have two more insert sketches I'd like to do, and a few more short insert text pages. Then, I want to get the first copy so I can examine the quality of the print and make sure that there are no mistakes in cropping, colors on the cover, etc. I'll let you know as soon as the book becomes available to buy. I'm super excited, too...

Speaking of covers... I have added the completed cover (sans text) to the illustrations page, and the vote incentive this week is the cover is how it is to appear in print (shrunk, of course). Lemme know what you think.

I'll put up background versions of it sometime tomorrow afternoon. Till next week... ja ne~!

Yeah, so, due to unforseen circumstances, I didn't get nearly as much done on my week off as I had hoped. *sadness* Anyway, I did get some work done on the cover, and it's coming along nicely, if slowly. The file size is HUGE so trying to do much at once takes a long time just saving the file every so often. Vote incentive this week is my current progress. Inking it was a bitch I'll have you know. I'll post the final version as an illustration when it gets done... hopefully sometime this week. Coloring goes fairly quickly, all things considered.

In other news, I start work again today. Kinda looking forward to earning money again--I hate having to scrape the bottom of my savings account to eat, and as a result, my diet isn't exactly up to par these past few weeks.

Hm, wonder who that is that's talking to Shi--I mean, Tshen'hwai. 9.9 Anyway, it's about 2am. Mmm, I love being up late and not having anywhere to be in the morning. It's a beautiful feeling.

Vote incentive this week is the base pencil sketch for the cover of the printed version. Mmm, it's gonna be spiffy when I'm done with it. I'm shooting to be done with it tomorrow sometime.

New page, the start of Volume 2! A cover for this volume is forthcoming... who knows when it might have one.

Work on the printed version is nearly complete. I now only need a few pages of "extras" and a new cover.

Vote incentive this week is Genbu. Mmm. He looks good in a tie.
