Update and X-mas

Merry Christmas, everyone! Yep, I'm up late tonight... and no, I'm not waiting up for Santa. >.>

Anyway, page is up later than anticipated tonight because I forgot my tablet pen at home and I had to do tones and word bubbles with my mouse. Pain in the ass. Oh yeah, and I got distracted by my shiny new iPod nano. ^o^ It's red. I lurves red. Shiny is a plus.

Next week's page will be up right around the New Year...

And guess what else will be happening next year?

Cheer, it's good. I've decided to push myself to go a little faster and up the update schedule to two days a week. I'll be doing a Monday/Thursday update schedule. I am currently working on penciling a TON of pages so that I can get a good backlog so I'll last longer. I really want to finish SkyFall, but I have other projects I'd like to get started in this lifetime as well... So, instead of finishing in the anticipated 250+ weeks, it'll be closer to 100+... and I can handle two years. You'll get approximately the same quality in pages, though I might get a little better at quicker tones.

Let's see how long I can last... I'm taking 13.5 credits this semester (though the school says I'm taking 16.5 but they're wrong), so hopefully an uncharacteristically light load will help with the time I have to devote to finishing SF before I have a Ph.D.... and getting started on other, more rewarding projects.

Update

Guess what! Vote incentives are tasty.

Le vanish! New vote incentive thanks to some inspiration from my shoutbox... >.>

School's out, now I'm planning on working a 40-hr week before X-mas to try to earn some more money. New page up on X-mas!! I've got a lot of art to do this break, and I'm hoping that I can get all of that done on top of a ton of pages to gear up for next year!!

Update

Page 20... we're nearing the end of the chapter. This doesn't bode well, does it? Bwahaha~!

Anyway, I had a REALLY AWESOMELY AWESOME time in Washington. I spent two days in Vancouver, WA (a little north of Portland, OR) with one of the volcanologists at USGS-CVO. I got to sit in on a few meetings and I met a lot of really cool people there. Information overload. On Wednesday, I got to go up in a plane and fly around Mt. St. Helens, and I took a whole bunch of pictures (which are on their website, if you're curious to find them... >.>)

Now, back to finals at school. What a drag. Next week will be happy because I won't have anymore finals!

Update

Yay, another on-time update. Not much news this week... other than me going to Washington (state that is)! Squeeeeee. I'll have to write all about it next week. I'm super excited.

Anyway, enjoy the page... >.>

No vote incentives till January. I'll try to whip a few up by then to get the year off to a good start.
