Update

The new schedule is going to take a little getting used to... since updating on Monday night is not a common occurrence. If I know what's good for me, I'll get my stuff done on Sunday anyway. =/

This is the last page I have fully done in pencil. The next page is mostly done... I keep telling myself that I just have to hold out till Spring Break (March 10) when I can spend most of my waking moments drawing. My goal... unrealistic though it may be... is to get Chapter 9's pencils completed. Hopefully that'll last me till graduation. I'm really enjoying how much faster the story is moving with 2 pages/week, but damn if it eats up my backlogs!!

In other news... life is... hectic at the moment. I mean, less than it has been, but I have a grant proposal that's due on Wednesday... wish me luck.

Also, new vote incentives next month, starting Thursday. I kinda skimped out this month. >.>

Update and New Schedule

Decided that Thursdays aren't working out so hot... I have a class on Thursday that consistently has homework due... so being the procrastinator that I am, I leave it for Wednesday night. Then, Thursday night I have nothing to do. Therefore, I am moving the Thursday updates to Friday. But, when I do that, I need to move the Monday update to Tuesday to keep the spacing the same.

In other news, I needed to add a new fanart section because I got a fanart of Thenya! It's awesome.

Fixed a few errors on the last few pages (fixed the sword on page 12, fixed a typo on 13).

And now, we meet Mukashi... for those of you who've been wondering who he is for the last several years. I like him... he should be fun in the next few chapters. Mmmm, yes.

Ummmm.... not a whole bunch to report at the moment. Life as usual.

New page. A little late today because, well, last night was Valentine's Day and my 3-year anniversary... so... not really much time to work on the page. That, and it took quite a bit of extra time to get to and from dinner because of the weather. Much of the icky outside.

Sorry about the delay, I spent all of my time at home yesterday doing some labs for one of my classes. School comes first, sadly enough. I think this weekend I'm going to try to get both next week's pages done so all I have to do is upload them. We'll see, it's going to be a busy weekend.

OMG, we didn't get snowed on this weekend!! What a thought. I'm totally liking the slightly warmer weather, but I could do without the wind. Curse you, weather.

The advertising seems to be working decently... I've had several hits from it, but I'm not sure how many I'll keep. Sales on the books are going GREAT at the moment, thanks to everyone who's bought them. 32 copies to date!! Wahoo!

We're really blazing through this chapter... it's amazing what doubling your update schedule will do. I recently finished penciling page 15... so that only makes me 5 pages ahead. I need to get rolling on keeping up with 2 full pages/week instead of relying so much on my backlog. Anyway, this chapter will be wrapping up in record time, probably sometime around Spring Break if all goes well. During Spring break I'll probably draw most or all of Chapter 9--I think it'll go quickly since it was a fun chapter to script...

Trying something new this month. I've decided to purchase a month's worth of advertising on OnlineComics.net... we'll see how much my readership increases. I'd be happy with another hundred or two... but we'll see. Depends on if I can keep them! Anyway, this is an experiment to see how well that mode of advertising works for when I open my next website project.

As for the page this week... I have mixed feelings about it. It's growing on me... but I wasn't too wild about it when I was inking it today... and yeah. Anyhow, the next page looks more fun. I'm quickly running out of reserves... I have Page 14 in pencils... hopefully I can draw some more this weekend or something.
