Update FINALLY

Wow, it's been so long since I've updated that I almost forgot how. Quite honestly, school hasn't been THAT bad... the creative juice hasn't been flowing as freely the last few months...

I have a singular presentation and a singular test before I graduate... and that's about it. Kind of a scary thought overall, really. But... either way, more time to work... and HOPEFULLY more time to draw and recover my creative juice. Actually, I think it's specifically the artistic juice that hasn't been flowing. Writing has been decent... and I've had energy in other places--just not for drawing. I have a theory, though! I haven't been doodling in class... I've been... well, attempting to pay attention and not fall asleep (mostly succeeding... I'm such a slacker when it comes to sleeping in class, even at my age and yet somehow I make kick-ass grades). Thus, I've not been getting many ideas for upcoming pages or illustrations that I've been itching to do. I've got a few I think now, so hopefully I won't feel bad about taking time out to do a nice digital painting sometime and still get my page done.

Anyway, needed to get that out of my system. In other news, I broke my glasses today. By cleaning them. Snapped the frame. Had to solder it back together, so I've been squinting at the compie screen and stuff. So... yeah. More hassles. Choir concert tomorrow night... hopefully that'll go smoothly this time 'round (last semester's concert was pretty good... but the recording came out REALLY Tenor heavy... and there were a few songs we all really hated).

It's late. I should sleep... Have fun with the page.

Update

New page... a little later than expected. Other sources are draining me at the moment... some by choice, others not so much.

Shoutout to my boy, cuz it's his birthday today! Go him. Speaking of birthdays, mine is next Thursday... though I won't be able to really celebrate it till the weekend.

I have collected a bit of fanart recently, I'll post it next week.

Tentative date for the page is the 20th. Oh right, this is page #200~!

Um. I think that's basically it for now. Next page is when things start to get... interesting.

Finished my term paper--7 pages of technical bullshitting, tell you what.

Finished pencils on the next page--I should have that up by Tuesday evening. It took me a little longer than expected... Tanoshii wasn't cooperating with me.

The next month or so is going to suck... decently bad. I have a major project/paper/exam/what have you due every week from now till May. I think instead of killing myself with trying to be on time and updating twice a week and then apologizing every week for being late... I'm going to only have one update per week until I'm done with Finals. Updates should be on the 10th, 17th, 24th, 1st... and then after that I will begin doing two per week the second week of May. Also, if I happen to find myself with more time on my hands than expected, I can start to build up my backlogs again. I drew most of this page yesterday, didn't finish inking it till about 1am... and yeah. Time crunch and stuff.

Sucks more for you guys though... this next section is... quite revealing as far as backstories go. Oh ho.

Anyway, vote incentive this week is a sketch of a random lesser Naiethoan deity that I found randomly. I did it as insert art for the RPG Khan's building, or was building.
