It's late, I need to sleep. No news of importance for now, really... aside from ranting and stuff. Perhaps next Monday.

Update and stuff...

Okay, so I suck at this updating thing the last few weeks. Still going through block... and lack of inspiration. I've had this page in ink since last week, I just haven't had the drive to finish off the extraordinarily simple tones.

Life's doing... alright at the moment. Graduation week was EXTREMELY busy, then I spent most of last week spending some time with my boy before he left for the summer--helping build a loft and rearranging his room, helping him pack, spending quality time. That kind of thing. I've also been getting into the groove of working. I've found some time to do some general art to recooperate a bit from school and get my groove back, but I need to do pages hardcore.

I think for now I'll leave it at a page a week so I can attempt to build up a bit of a buffer for the school year, and hopefully things will go better by then. I don't want to force myself too much, else I'll be unhappy. And an unhappy RekKa does not update at all.

Updated the pages so that the Fantasy Exchange code is no longer there (using my mad Java programming SKILLZ), updated the character section (Mukashi now has a mini-blurp), and updated some fanart I've been hoarding since April:

- A sketch done for my birthday, by Forinya
- A sketch of a crossover of Forinya's characters and mine
- Hana genderbended by Lynnwood (isn't she hawt as a man?)

Early Warning

Readers-- there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to finish a page by Thursday morning... or night for that matter. I just realized that I have a formal dinner Wednesday night, and if it goes near as long as the one I just went to did, I'm not going to have enough time to do a page without staying up all night.

Graduation is a hectic time I guess.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know now that I will not be able to come through with a page.

Update

Alright. New page up--hope it's decently clear what's going on... this looked so much clearer in my mind.

I will be returning to Monday/Thursday updates this week... assuming I can get my ass in gear and get pages done. Since I have ABSOLUTELY no backlog of pages, that may be difficult while working full time. Two page a week updates will continue until July, at which point I will have extremely unreliable access to a computer, and very limited drawing time. More on that later.

Extended updating this week will include a new wave of fanart that has built up... and the removal of the Fantasy Exchange. Bleh, I'm going to have to write a parsing code to get rid of all the pages it's on... But first, I have a recording session to attend.

Alright, the month of hell has come to a close, and I will be graduating next Friday. I only have one final on Saturday... and then I'm done. During May and June, I hope to go back to normal update schedule Monday/Thursday and hope in the evenings/weekends to build up a decent backlog. Here's hoping anyway--you all know my track record with these kinds of things...

This last month has been really strange. I've had time here and there... but no focus. I'll start on the page, and get distracted. Or, I'll have the time, not start on the page, and just sit in front of the TV or computer for long periods of time and getting nothing done. It's strange. I need to find my SkyFall spark again, I think... and not freak out about random things going on.

I guess that's all for now. I'll try my best to have a completed page done this weekend--I'll seriously have no excuse with NOTHING due on Monday.
