Update... late

Episode 10, Page 9 now up. A lot later than I was planning. I spent most of last night penciling pages instead of finishing up this one... so in the end it works out. I finished page 11 in pencils last night... and that's one of the turning points of the chapter... so hopefully the next several pages will go quickly. They should be very dynamic.

In other news, I just finished scripting Chapter 12. I'm pretty excited to draw it! I finally got out of a year-long writing block in the story... and script is pretty much just flowing out of me. It's wonderful. Not the best script ever, but the hope is to finish the story and that you'll all enjoy it--in some ways I have to settle for less than perfection.

There will be a new (and perhaps exciting?) vote incentive up on Friday.

Update

I started this page today. Surprisingly, I finished it today as well... and I actually like how it turned out. Here's hoping the next one turns out like this one. I'm especially proud of panel two, since I don't usually do far shots... The perspective got a bit muddled in the inking, but overall I still like it. I'm also pleased with Hana's legs in panel four.

Doing most of the word bubbles by hand is working out quite well! I'm happy.

New page... and I really need to get workin' on doing more. Homework and otherwise being lethargic have gotten the best of me.

First, I'd like to thank you all for your words of support and condolences. It was kind of surreal for me because I saw her a week before she passed. We were pretty close...

Anyway, I think I'm doing alright now... so I'm also back to doing pages. Also, this weekend is a long weekend... so I'm hopeful about getting some more done.

Glad to be back! Oh, and yes, Mukashi just jumped off the second (and a half) story balcony.
