HIATUS

So, I was really hoping I'd get more pages done this weekend so I could leave you all off on a cliffhanger, but life, it seems, has a penchant for getting away from me. I really should know better than to promise pages... I always feel bad when I don't end up delivering.

Life has been crazy busy... moreso now that school is over with. After finals were over, I had a pile of lab notebooks to grade, a graduation to attend, extended family to visit, and friends to bid farewell. Now, I get to go on vacation to MEXICO! Yeah, I really need it. My boyfriend's parents have a timeshare and we're driving to Puerto Peñasco. I leave Wednesday, and get back on the 26th. After that, I get to sign the lease to my new condo, and then spend the rest of the week moving in and getting that all set up. Talk about BUSY!!! While in Mexico, though, I should have at least some drawing time in the evenings after lazing about on the beach and working on my tan.

Updates will resume 6/3/2008, by which time I will be back in the country, mostly moved in, and hopefully have an internet connection in my new home. If not, I can always use the school computers...

Update + Notice of Hiatus

Alright, page is up. Sorry about missing Friday--finals + final papers = doom. Things get hectic around the end of the year, but now it's over. Yay. Just working at work now.

I shouldn't have any problems getting pages up on Friday and next Tuesday. After that, however, I will be going on HIATUS until the beginning of June. First, I'm going to Mexico with my boyfriend and his family... and after that I'm moving into a new place. Hopefully we'll get the internet set up by June!! I'll be sad if we don't.

If worse comes to worst I can always post from school, so I WILL return from hiatus beginning June 3.

Yup. New page... more possibly to come on Friday. I'm going to be really busy between now and then, but I hope I can get it done.

I'm really excited about this chapter. I've been looking forward to it for... three years now? Should be fun.

School is starting to wind down... kind of. I have a research paper to write before next Friday... so if I miss a page between now and then you'll know why. I have most of the research done--it's just the writing left to do... which may or may not be the hard part. We'll see. I'm going to try to get that written this weekend.

Anyway, it's late so I'm going to keep this short. Vote incentive today is third of a six part series... and a design that probably won't end up making it to the comic except for on Tuesday's page.

This weekend should be interesting. I'm gonna be busy!! Partly because of my birthday (yay...) and mostly because that involves having guests over. I hope to get some pages done... I seem to be in the groove lately. It's nice.

Because I missed the update on Friday, I decided to crank out two pages for today's update. Last week was kind of hell... this week isn't much better... Oh well. Life goes on.

Wow. Busy! And it's late. Well, at night anyway. Thankfully, the page is on time. I was kind of worried that it wouldn't be. I got promoted to green belt tonight in Aikido, and was invited to join the upper-ranks in their class... I wasn't expecting to stay for the entire time... so that was several hours of my evening I wasn't planning on. Oh well, I'm yonkyu now, so I'm pleased.

I'm also very pleased with the new fanart I got!!

It's by Felix, of Flaky Pastry fame. I lurves it.

Let's see... I put up a new creators page... rearranged some stuff on the front page, and sold my soul to advertising. I'm trying to earn money to begin advertising SF on other websites, and I'd like to do that only with money I earn through PW. We'll see if it works. I hope they're not terribly intrusive. Vote incentive today is the original design for Kainoel'ra, the goddess of the Haeloar. The next incentives will be the designs for the other five.

Um. I got invited to another Collective: http://www.hikousenenterprises.com/ so that should be helpful as well with getting my name out in the world again. It sometimes surprises me that I've been around nearly six years... and have a readership that hasn't grown much (afaik) in the last few years. Oh well, I love you all anyway, and I'm always honored that as many of you have stuck around as long as you have.

I'm on time today! Joy. Probably mostly because this was an incredibly simple page to do... But no matter. It's the start of a new mini-chapter, which should be finished up here in about two weeks. Yeah.

Sorry about the missed update last Friday. Wednesday night I was out until 10, Thursday night I was out until 11:30, and Friday I was busy with work and research. I finally finished the page on Saturday, and well... knew I wouldn't have enough time between then and today to get the next page done.

The next few updates may be slightly sporadic due to a large project coming up next Thursday. I'll try to have the pages done, though. ^^

Vote incentive today is a quick avatar I did for my boyfriend of his RP character, Rictor. I'd appreciate if you all would vote a little more this month! My rating has been down in the 80's... and I tend to get more hits if I'm higher... I'm also going to try to give you more stuff as incentives... but we'll see.
